The textile industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world, so there is always room for improvement.
These days, we hear a lot about green and vegan materials, with no solution clearly defined as better than the other. Therefore, it's important that we explain our choices and our current thinking.
Since 2020, Cabaïa has banned the use of single-use plastic in its products, replacing it with kraft paper or starch in all packaging. The only plastic component that remains is the small piece used to attach labels. The team is currently working to find a sustainable solution so that this can also be replaced as soon as possible.
This is one of Cabaïa's strongest and most fundamental commitments: none of our products contain animal materials and all are EVE VEGAN certified (except for some hats that contain wool, which is recycled or sourced from farms that do not practice mulesing and are certified as such).
