How to clean your wool socks?
To preserve the softness and shape of your wool socks, wash them only by hand in cold or lukewarm water (never above 30°C). Use a small amount of detergent specifically for wool or a mild soap, then gently rub the fabric without pulling or twisting. Rinse carefully in water of the same temperature to avoid any thermal shock that could cause the fibers to felt.
Wool is a natural material sensitive to friction, heat, and temperature changes. Do not let your socks soak for too long and avoid using fabric softener or harsh stain removers. To remove excess water, gently squeeze them between your hands or wrap them in a clean towel—never wring them out.
After washing, lay your socks flat on a towel to air dry, away from any direct heat source (radiator, hairdryer, direct sunlight). Do not hang them to prevent them from losing their shape. Once completely dry, they will regain their original shape and natural softness.
