The Spanish artist Salvador Dalí is a great inspiration and was the genius of surrealist art. Dalí is also a source of inspiration for transforming his art and characteristics into various objects that identify his style and personality. With his unique personality, Dalí's works never failed to make an impact.

As an extremely imaginative artist, he displayed a marked tendency toward narcissism and megalomania, the aim of which was to attract public attention. This behavior irritated those who appreciated his art and justified his critics, who dismissed his eccentric behavior as a publicity stunt that was sometimes more striking than his artistic output.

Dalí attributed his "love for everything that is golden and excessive, his passion for luxury and his love for oriental fashion" to a self-proclaimed "Arab lineage", which traced its roots back to the times of Arab domination of the Iberian Peninsula.
