ChromeFree leather is soft and lightweight. Sourced from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process that uses no chromium, heavy metals, or hazardous acids. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is limited, water consumption is reduced by 40%, and salt usage by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.

here Since 2005, VEJA has been creating sneakers differently, combining social projects, economic justice and ecological materials.
VEJA uses organic cotton from Brazil and Peru for the canvas and laces, Amazonian rubber for the soles, and various innovative materials made from recycled plastic bottles and polyester.
VEJA shoes are produced in Brazil in factories that respect workers' rights. Part of VEJA's logistics are managed by Log'ins, a company that promotes social and professional integration.
The manufacture of different sneakers Since VEJA's inception, its sneakers have always been manufactured in the same place: the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil. Over time, a true partnership has developed between the brand and the assembly plant.
Upcycling Upcycling consists of recycling materials or products that have fallen into disuse to turn them into higher quality or more practical products.
Plastic bottles, recycled cotton from textile industry waste, recycled polyester: our recycled materials give a second life to household waste and allow us to create a range of fabrics according to the season and their destination.
