The Pont del Bisbe, or Bishop's Bridge, was built in 1928 by Joan Rubió i Bellver during the dictatorship of Miguel Primo de Rivera. A beautiful archway with a balcony, its decoration inspired by Flamboyant Gothic style, though relatively modern, has become one of the most popular and photographed features of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter due to its mysterious beauty. Some say that when you pass under it, you should make a wish; who knows, maybe it will come true.
